24 Hour Bug
I think our house was hit this weekend with the 24 hour bug. On Saturday night, Courtney was not feeling well, and by the time bedtime rolled around, had been thrown up all that was in her little stomach. Of course she wanted to lay with me in our bed, and it was a little crowded. Ivan, her and me on a queen size bed. I have to lay in a certain position, or I am so stiff in the morning I can hardly move. Well she fell asleep in there, and after about a hour, Ivan moved her to her room. During the night, she got sick again, and got back in bed with us. When Ivan woke up and realized she was in bed with us, he took her back to her own room. I hardly slept all night, and could not move without severe pain, so we stayed home from church. I worked on stretching to make my back loosen up, and by afternoon, Courtney was feeling fine. I hurt all day. I still hurt today but did manage to go to the gym and do 1.70 miles on the treadmill, and have done a few loads of laundry today and mopped the kitchen floor, and done a load of dishes. I stretched this morning, but need to do it again before I pick the children up from school. I am to stretch at least three times a day, if not four, and walk a mile at least once a day. The more walking and stretching I do, the better I will heal according to my physical therapist.
Last night we took the children bowling, and Courtney bowled over 100 for the first time ever. She is now a better bowler than me. I did not bowl, as I still do not lift much weight.
Today was just busy and it will continue that way tonight. Courtney has basketball and dive tonight (on post) while Jesse has Karate off post 15 minutes after Courtney has basketball practice. Ivan will have to take Courtney and I will have to take Jesse. Jesse is moving from the ATA to the WTA and I cannot find his certificates promoting him to camo belt. I am sure they are in some box somewhere. We still have little organization here, and we are getting ready to repack in two and a half months. I hope that by taking his belts in, his ATA card, and his equipment, it will be enough. I am sure with this being a military town, they understand that things often stay in boxes for a long period, especially when you are staying less than a year. I will deal with that so Ivan does not have to.
Have a wonderful day.
